I thought this was a quick desert to keep on hand if'n you had some company to stop by. And if'n you wanted to make them somethin' to satisfy a sweet tooth then this could be a easy throw together kinda cure.
Are you wondering why I'm saying "if'n". I'm not sure. But it's fun.
Anywho. Here we go. You will need a box of brownie mix, 2 cups marshmallows, 1 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1 cup toasted pecans. That's "p-cans". Just in case you weren't sure how it was pronounced.

Place the nuts on a sheet pan and toast in the oven for about 10 min or until they smell nutty. Remove and put aside.
Make the brownie mix according to directions and set to bake at times recommended for the type of pan used. I used an 8 x 8 pan. About 10 minutes before time is up pull them puppies outta there and top with marshmallows. Put them back in the oven and finish the cooking time. The marshmallows will get a nice toasty brown on the edges and all gooey underneath.

While the brownies are finishing the last few minutes of cooking, heat the cream in the microwave till boiling hot. Pour over the chocolate and allow to sit for a few minutes then stir till the chocolate is all melted. When the brownies are finished, remove them from the oven and drizzle the melted chocolate all over the marshmallows. Then top with the toasted nuts.

Allow them to cool, remove from pan and cut into delicious, gooey squares of chocolatey goodness!

I don't have a specific recipe for these. I think I saw them along the way recently in a Taste of Home magazine, but am unable to find it now. If you make them soon, please let me know what, if any, changes you made and if'n you liked them!
Later!
